Things to Write a Narrative Essay AboutThere are so many things to write a narrative essay about. I've tried to think of a few on my own and I got lost in the process of coming up with a few. It seems to me that everybody wants to talk about something, but there is a great need for a little self-expression. It seems like the world at large would benefit from seeing an actual person use their own words and thoughts to make a point instead of seeing a computer generated template pop up with the same words on it.But, how do you know what to write? It seems like no matter where you turn you're presented with just another page full of writing, all of which you must choose. You must write what you want to write. How can you write what you don't know? You must take control of your own mind.If you're having trouble coming up with things to write a narrative essay about, here are a few ideas that you can try out: family history, birth of a child, holidays, growing up, times of crime and punis hment, death, funeral, etc. All these things have to do with the human condition. Each has a story to tell.The story of the birth of a child might include a mother delivering her first child, then watching the baby pass away and finally seeing her newborn through the eyes of God. Another family history story might include an aunt marrying her cousin, coming to know his family and becoming a part of it, learning about new ways of thinking and being, and finally becoming a parent and seeing the happiness in their children. The story of a grandparent may involve watching a child grow up and age into an adult, witness the death of loved ones, then seeing the aging process and watch those loved ones passed on and see the deaths of some of those loved ones come to pass.Finally, a holiday essay might discuss Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Each of these holidays has its own story to tell. Each has been adapted over time and some h ave had their meaning changed. They all share a basic notion of good will, kindness, love, and friendship.I think that's all I could fit in here. But, I realize that each of these things to write a narrative essay about are far more than what I put here. Each of these topics are very unique in their own way and each has its own personal meaning. So, I believe there are many more things to write a narrative essay about.However, if you need a basic outline of what to write, the best way to go is this: It's best to start by thinking about what you truly want to say in a sentence. Then, think about what things to write a narrative essay about. And, finally, decide what you will write to fill in the blanks left behind by the other topics.That is a good start. Now, you've got a big job ahead of you. You have to write a narrative essay. But, it's not hard if you know what to write about.
